Jewish influence over the president candidates (Trump and Clinton)

A story is told of a Jewish man who was riding on the subway reading antiSemitic newspaper.

A friend of his, who happened to be riding in the same subway car, noticed this strange phenomenon. Very upset, he approached the newspaper reader.

“Moshe, have you lost your mind? Why are you reading that rag”?

Moshe replied, "I used to read the Jewish newspaper, but what did I find? Jews being persecuted, Israel being attacked, Jews disappearing through assimilation and intermarriage, Jews living in poverty.

I think what the Op tried to say was that, those candidates might not serve America’s best interest but serve Israel’s interest instead even if that somehow harms (or does not maximize, or makes no difference but wastes time & attention, etc) America’s interest in any degree. It makes no sense for America to not serve its own interest. As for right & wrong, that’s not on the same plane as interest. When I say America serving its own interest, that’s when it’s not wrongful. I am clearly not talking about America stealing money from a foreign country with a military force.

What does any of this have to do with anyone being Jewish? Do you believe Jewish Americans are unable or less able to be loyal Americans?

Given the quality of the Chinese sleeper-agent program, I must agree. First they got her installed as Secretary of Labor, then as the wife of the Senate Minority Leader. And only Rense and Progress Kentucky were able to spot the danger.

It’s my understanding that the massive amounts of aid given to Israel (and Egypt, incidentally) are spent at least partly to buy weapons from American manufacturers. In addition to being foreign aid, it’s also domestic aid, essentially a subsidy to American defense companies.
If religion is not the issue, though, why not support Israel? It’s an oasis of democracy surrounded by dictatorial states ranging from relatively benign to full-on totalitarian. On that basis alone, they’d get my sympathy.

Well, I for one question some of Israel’s policies, and don’t really like their theocratic leanings, but it’s got nothing to do with The Judaism, The Jew, or anything else related to The Specific religion. But I also tend to have a strong dislike for all religion, and think it has no place driving policy.

For those reasons, I wish we were a little less in love with Israel, but I am sure I could find a number of other US allies (Saudi Arabia?) that would meet the same criteria.

And FWIW, I am currently rooting for Bernie because I suspect he would agree with me on most of the above.

Clintons daughter is married to an Jew. Their child have a Jewish upbringing.
Trumps daughter and Clintons daughter are friends.

I’m pretty sure that this will affect foreign relation (Israel) :dubious:

Overall, the world’s doing pretty well, especially for those of us living in the West and in a first world country. I hope Jews do control the world, they’ve done a damn fine job of it. I hope they continue to control the world for a few thousand more years.

I guess some people don’t or won’t get it, but the “Jewish influence” thing in American politics is simply stupid. There’s no other word for it; it’s flatly, incontestably stupid. It is, consequently, difficult to take seriously.
