OK, I grew up as a reform Jew as well. I pretty much resisted religious education. I’m just relating my impressions of what I took in. I don’t think I said anything racist.

That’s because you very clearly don’t understand the concept. “Chosen” doesn’t mean superior, it means chosen to follow the Laws of God. It means different, not better. It means that the Jews have a burden that others don’t.

Who ever said that you were a racist? If you felt that what you said was true, you would, in my opinion, hold a racist belief. You don’t think that it’s true which puts you in the mainstream.
