Y’all know the drill.
Jim Kirk, if he has some illogic prepared. Of course, if that the Bat-computer has a 1920’s style “Death Ray” it could either way.
Dude, Kirk operates in the 23rd century. By then, the Bat-computer would be using a 2220’s-style death ray.
How about Jim Kaat vs. a Wang computer?
Cap’n Kirk is screwed.
On the occasions he’s had to outthink a computer, he has done so in two ways:
-
He convinced the M-5 that since it was responsible for the deaths of human beings, it had to pay the price for murder. It therefore shut itself down.
-
He introduced a verbal logical paradox, and got the computer to ponder it. Since paradox cannot be dealt with logically, the computer in question shut down (actually, they were androids, but you get the idea).
The Bat-computer hasn’t killed anyone. Batman would certainly never permit that. And if it can handle the Joker’s methodology and the Riddler’s sense of humor, I’m pretty sure a logical paradox wouldn’t faze it.
Jim Kirk’s had it. Unless, of course, he brought his phaser with him. And then the Bat-computer’s fried.
Unless, of course, Batman’s around, and has had time to prepare. But that’s another thread entirely…
