I doubt if even our own beloved Eve knows the answer to this one, but I’m kind of curious if Stewart accepted a pension when he retired from the USAF reserves in the 1960s, or if he donated it. No matter what, the man earned it, but he certainly didn’t need it, and he strikes me as the kind of guy who’d be willing to donate it to a worthy cause.
