My only gripe is, why did they have to bring back that embarrasingly annoying chemistry (now physics) teacher?

Prediction for the next episode: Something happens to Adam that Joan could have prevented but didn’t because she was ignoring God. This will be used as a parallel to the business with Kevin not preventing his friend from driving drunk.

Nuh uh… you never said no such thing. All you said was that you’re going to put them on the tape, not that you have been. There’s a distinction there that I’d’ve expected you to get as an English professor. 
Yeah, that triple negative was intentional. Are your eyes crossed yet? 
I have taped. I am taping. I will tape. I use two VCRs. Or I can have to use my friend’s VCR when I house- and dog-sit for her. Tapes are in progress. Threads are continuing.
