I wasn’t thinking of his career; I was thinking of his well-being. Although he has repeatedly proven himself a terrific actor, the jury’s still out on his musical ability (aside from Johnny Cash impersonations). Given the way his brother died, I think the last thing a possible-addict might need is an environment that’s even more conducive to at-risk behavior.

Maybe he prefers to interact/create with musicians rather than actors. Musicians also have a lot more control over their projects. imho anyway, what do I know?
