He was stuck on this case for Five long, long years. Knowing that a psychopath was doing everything possible to manipulate him. Talk about a man really hating his job. 
I understand his reaction. One look at those crime scene photos is enough to make this woman look like a monster. She can discuss her “vaginal grooming.” all she wants and its not a turn on. Someone this depraved isn’t sexy in any context. imho Just looking at her and knowing what she did to her lover is sickening.
I’m surprised her former attorney can discuss the case in such detail. Its extraordinary that he still managed to mount an effective defense under these difficult personal circumstances.
