I very much enjoyed the first, liked the second and felt like it was wearing thin by the third where, seemingly, 70% of New York is engaged in the assassination or assassination-support industries. This one looks a little more narrow, I hope, and I’ll happily give it a go.
The plot has gotten worse in each new entry, but the action gets better (although Keanu didn’t look great in the 2v1 hand to hand stuff in the 3rd).
The horse/motorcycles chase scene? Knife store fight? Yeah, I’ll keep watching them until they don’t deliver on that front
They ought to bring in that guy who played Viktor Drago inCreed 2 to fight him in the next one. Maybe there’s new blood and John has to pick a side.
I liked the callback to the line from the earlier movie “Somebody get this man a gun!”
Personally I will likely wait until it is available via streaming if I watch at all. Chapter 3 bored me even after I tried to watch it again to see if my impression changed, which it did not. Although the movie had its moments, his character went into too over the top god mode for me to care about the outcome anymore. This trailer left me feeling the same way and seems to imply yet another layer of, hey here is this other set of rules that were not hinted to in the first, second or third movie that actually do apply to his situation. I liked it more when it was more implied that he was the baba yaga, than showing him be it all the time.

I like how there’s some master assassin guy who can release Wick from the whole thing and Wick’s like “Who’s this guy?”. Man, read the industry newsletters or something.
The absolutely insane worldbuilding is one of my favorite aspects of the series. It’s like a game of D&D where the DM is making up the campaign world as they go.
Well, to be fair, he has been moving around a lot, and his house was destroyed, so maybe they could not figure out how to deliver it?
