Ok, got the beer buzz going on so,well…ya know…

Heard about this album forever on the various guitar boards but never heard it for myself until tonight. Got my little package from Amazon and eventually got this into the CD playin’ machine.

Yeah, digging it ! JW’s one of the greats in blues guitar, I have a couple of his later albums but he was on fire for this one. I so wish I would have had the opportunity to see him live at his peak. Great stuff!

Any other J. Winter fans out there?

Big time. I love, love, love his version of the old standard “I’ll Drown in My Own Tears” off of his self-titled album ( i.e. the one that preceded Second Winter ), which probably remains my sentimental favourite out of all his albums. If you like his more rock-oriented stuff Johnny Winter And and the live iteration are essential.
