Jon Heder Dead!?

All week at school I’ve been hearing that Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) has died. I’ve heard he overdosed and was in a car crash. I later found out that it was just rumors, but now a friend just said that she heard on the radio that he died of food poisoning. So what’s the deal? Is Napoleon really dead?

I looked on a couple of sites and I’m seeing nothing. From the story and the lack of evidence, I’m saying hoax.

I don’t think this is true, but seems to be nothing more than a rumor that is quickly circulating the internet. I found no major news service that has reported his death.

I heard he died after washing down three packs of Pop Rocks with some Coke.

I thought he died in Vietnam.

I heard he died while filming the video for his cover of Rio.

sigh of relief
I was thinking it was a hoax, but still. Can anyone confirm it?

I can’t confirm that he’s alive, but I have it on good authority that he once visited the Marianas Trench, in 1960, but only for 20 minutes, while masturbating like a motherfuck (Hi, Opal!) and burning your liger with a 1920’s style death ray.

When he came back, he brought pie.

And the clues are on his album covers.

He didn’t die there, he was a sniper with over 100 confirmed kills. He wears those long cardigans to cover up the tatoos. Furthermore, he then killed a guy in the 80’s and paid this one dude to cover it up. If you don’t believe me, just ask my friend Mark. One time he saw Jon Heder totally uppercut this one kid just for opening a window.

It is pretty much impossible to prove that someone is not dead, but Jon Heder has appeared on TV since the time these stories started, which is fairly good evidence.

Waitaminute, I thought Paul was dead.

It’s interesting how you can tell that a celebrity has arrived in the public consciousness by noting the death rumors.

When I was a youngster, there was a big rumor going around that Buddy Holly had died in a car crash. Not long after, he really did die, in a plane crash. Having been taken in by the first rumor, I refused to believe the second one until I saw an article in my local newspaper.

The rumor I remember from high school was that Axl Rose had died. Calculate when I was in high school from that one.

The reason it sticks with me is the day that I heard it, one of my best friend’s cousins died - hit by a car while biking.

Susan

Is that how his face became so deformed that he had to have major cosmetic surgery to have an acting career but devoted himself to God becasue of it?

BTW, there was a Canadian actor named Andre Noble who starred in some edgy independent flicks (most notably Sugar, a film about gay hustlers) and who died last year at 25 in a freakish death from eating plants he shouldn’t have while camping in the Canadian wilderness. Ever since then I’ve heard the exact same manner of death attributed to a couple of other actors (including Seann William Scott and Josh Hartnett even), so it may be the source of Jon Heder’s “death”.

I heard he died in a badger-hunting accident in Alaska. GOSH!

Er, wolverine hunting :smack:

He’s clearly not dead. But Engelbert Humperdinck is.
