Maybe I’m naturally oversensitive, or maybe someone just slipped me decaf coffee this morning, but Ponder Stibbons Stibbons makes so many laughably counter-productive statements, it boggles the mind to think about them. Let me get to the crux of the matter: Ponder Stibbons’s bait-and-switch tactics are a mere cavil, a mere scarecrow, one of the last shifts of a desperate and dying cause.

Maybe Stewart was making a joke at Rumsfeld and not the troops. I would have no problem with that. Rumsfeld is a murder, but he should have been clearer. The troops are the best of the country and nothing should be done that could hurt them.
