Mug (or similar) shots are seldom complimentary…but jeez, what has happened to this once cute girl.
It just looks like an unflattering angle on someone who is obviously drunk. She’s 60 years old, drunk, and being arrested. How would you think she should look?
Man, it’s like she’s aged 30 years!
Actually, she looks quite a bit younger than 60, IMHO.
Over three decades!
Everyone in the world was cuter 30 years ago.
I’m always looking for a reason to share this poem!
Man, that is some lazy reporting.
A 60-year-old woman has the nerve to look like a 60-year-old woman? Get the fuck out of here!
As Revtim says, she could actually pass for younger than 60.
Lame, lame thread.
Hey, this is Hollywood where women don’t age, they plasticize.
I think she looks pretty rough if that were a shot of her at the Academy Awards. After a DUI arrest, it’s not so bad.
Give notfrommensa a break. Hollywood women don’t age naturally. We all remember Joyce Dewitt as that cute kid 30 years ago. She hasn’t done much in the interim that we could have see her age gradually. It’s a little jolting to see a pic like that when your only image to reference was her 1977 version.
She looks pretty much the same as she always did to me. Of course, I always thought she was ugly. Not just plain or ordinary but ugly. Wasn’t that they whole point of her casting — to play the ugly girl vs. whatever bombshell they had cast for the other girl?
Nick Nolte remains the king of DUI mugshots.
What?
I thought it was the cute, level-headed girl-next-door type playing off the ditzy blonde-bombshell Marilyn Monroe type.
I thought she was adorable and loved her and Jack’s rapport. Probably the only time I wished the writers had paired up two characters who were great as platonic friends, though only if they’d done it at the very end. She does look rough. But so do most people in mug shots, if The Smoking Gun is to be believed.
Actually, I think she still looks good, at least she did in 2007 or so when she was not going through a drunken ordeal.
Also, isn’t that the look she used to give Jack when he double entendred one too many? “Jack!”
It keeps tripping me out that people who were young in the 70’s, like Ms. DeWitt there, are old now. It’s really going to be weird when people who were young in the 80’s are old. Then the 90’s, which will include me! Stupid time- it just keeps going on!
She does look great in the 2007 picture, and not that bad in the drunken one.
She only looks bad in that picture because of the contorted expression on her face. She’s probably just trying not to cry.
