For teh jumping, there was an ITV kids show called the Tomorrow People (in the 80’s… there’s an older show of the same name too, not sure if the subject matter is the same) qhich had teleporting teens that GASP you actually rooted for.
I remember that show! I agree that, thinking about it, it’s a concept that works far better in a TV show than it does as a film.
I just want to know where a secret society gets all its money from, they seemed to be extremely well heeled and equipped (and Hayden’s mum had an extremely nice house).
They’ve been killing thieves who can go nearly anywhere for a long time. I imagine that helps.

In the original Tomorrow People, they were a group of kids who had supernatural powers, like telekinesis, who were supervised by an agency. They could teleport, known as “jaunting”, but that was with technology, not supernaturally.
It seemed like they could walk around and flash badges like they were CIA or something. I guess I’ll have to re-watch and pay attention to whether they actually are a branch of Law Enforcement.
Seems to me a secret society that was dedicated, could have amassed quite a fortune if they’ve kept at it since the middle ages.
I’m a D&Der - the idea of using one dragon’s hoard to fund the expedition to slay the next comes to mind naturally.
