Is that one yours? Any idea what these dogs are? My best guess is a little of everything: generic dog.

Whatever breed she is, Shea has intelligence and kindness in her eyes. Her ears are wonderful.

The shelter I got her from said she was Akita/Shepherd. I don’t see Akita when I look at her. 
She was the only black dog in the litter, and the only female. The rest were males and had the generic mixed breed brownish color and indeed looked like they could be part Akita. I’ve seen pics of them grown up and they are quite a bit larger, 70-75 pounds, compared to my dogs 50 pounds.
Yep, I really didn’t want to get another dog after my last one died. It took a couple of years before my wife talked me into adopting again. Absolutely no regrets. she’s a fantastic dog.
I don’t see the Akita, but dog genetics are a trip. I love her ears!
