Just because I TOLERATE you, does NOT mean I don't think you're crazy.

You realize it is very easy to block the application? Then you never have to see it from anyone.

I tried gathering 30,000 signatures, but it was a lot of work and I wasn’t sure where to send it.

Wow. Did it take a long time to gather enough straw for that man?

So, did Jim Morrison really go to seminary?

I’d guess it didn’t take…

So at the risk of being an ass I’m guessing you believe children dying from cancer must be the will of God.

Here’s what you do: Don’t tell them they’re crazy or stupid. Tell them they’re damned. Tell them Christianity – or anything that serves or honors the false God of Israel, the Abomination of Desolation – is not just wrong but evil. Tell them any decent person looks on all Christians, all Jews, all Muslims, as Elijah looked upon the priests of Baal.

This approach will not only burn their sad souls with cognitive dissonance, it has the advantage of being the absolute truth.

Hey, I think about doing things to help people all the time. I think real hard about it, then I stop, satisfied I’ve done my part.

Here’s what I don’t understand. Maybe you can help. Say your daughter is sick. We can all agree that this is a horrible thing. Do you think God would be less inclined to help her if you didn’t pray?

Or consider this: Say one of your kids needed help and you, being their all-knowing parent were fully aware of it and were fully capable of giving them what they needed. Would you withhold assistance from them if they didn’t get down on their knees and beg you to help?

Not only that, you get to re-connect with your old high school friends from decades ago – thus reawakening the crazy dramas you thought were long buried and forgotten.

Occasionally, the drama gets really out of control – absolutely insane drama, way beyond the pale.

You forget that in your analogy the parent also gave them the disease in the first place.

Too bad God can’t sue for libel.

“The plaintiff alleges that the defendant stated that the plaintiff caused the disease that killed the child, was fully capable of healing the child, but did willfully withhold treatment because the child did not get down on her knees and worship the plaintiff”.
