Welcome to the club! Expect to have a really good time getting from Point A to Point B now, even on the most mundane trips. You’ll probably also start collecting a bunch of stories that begin, “I almost got killed on the way to ____ today…”
Without anyone to show you how to do even throttleless riding I imagine that its probably best for it to sit dormant until your ready. But until then, you can make it shine, change the oil, inspect the major components, sit on it, tell all your non rider friends how much better you are then them (j/k).
Congrats! I’m expecting to buy my first one next week, most likely a Yamaha V Star 250. I took the MSF class at the beginning of April and have been chomping at the bit ever since. I feel like a kid at Christmas!
