Just how many "successful" threads have you helped make that way?

There’s probably a better word than “successful” for what I want to find out here, but given limitations in spelling things out in thread titles, I hope this attracted your attention enough to mouse-over the OP for what I really want.

There have been threads dealing with threads you started that turned out well. There have also been threads about threads you may have killed. There may even be other threads asking basically the same questions I’m about to ask. If you know of such a thread as this last type, please provide a link to it/them.

Three simple questions that can be answered by doing two “vanity searches” on your own Member Name:

========================================

  1. How many threads have you posted to (not necessarily started) that got over 100 replies?

  2. How many threads of that type have gotten over 200 replies?

  3. Which thread that you participated in got the most replies?

========================================

Hopefully, my example should clear up what I’m after:

  1. 134 (goes all the way back to my “Join Date”)

  2. 25

  3. Predict The Next Poster!

========================================

Additional data on my biggee that I’m not necessarily asking for in your case:

  1. Thread started 08-31-2003, 01:05 PM by NoClueBoy

  2. Thread got 3,379 Replies and 19,875 Views in 68 pages

  3. Last post was 11-13-2003, 04:42 PM #3380 by UncleBeer who closed the thread

========================================

What about your contributions to “successful” threads?

Are there more details we should be finding out?

I made a couple of contributions to the infamous “If LOTR had been written by somebody else” thread, that had thousands of posts; but my contributions didn’t directly lead to the size of the thread, by any means.

My, my. This is far from a “successful thread” wouldn’t you say?

Costco is having a special sale on lobster.

Thanks.

Some people call me…“Threadkiller”.

Pompatus of love?

Gratuitous post to pad post count. *

*Not really, I couldn’t think of anything more clever at the moment.

I’ve made at least 3 posts that should go down in the record book as the most wonderful pot ever made on this board.

noooooo mom…I don’t wanna wake up yet.

I taught a board member (and anyone who was interested from reading) how to use his computer to remove all scratches and noise from vinyl recordings, in this thread - without the ability to use illustrations. He was soliciting advice, and I just happened upon his thread. What he wanted to know is my hobby and part of my job. So I explained it to him in great detail. I gather that he was able to make it work well, and achieved some fairly spectacular results. Those were about fourteen of my fifteen minutes on this board.

I’m not searching for how many threads I’ve started nor how many posts nor views, lest some other petty moron, or maybe the same one, start a pit thread on me again for being aware of my post count.
