Is it possible that a person’s life can be so absolutely perfect, and s/he is so spoiled, s/he never has to answer for their actions - no matter what?
I feel like the only one seeing this, but it is as if this friend of mine has been handed her life on a silver platter. Beyond being spoiled rotten, she knows how to get what she wants regardless of the risks involved, and gets away with it every single time? No matter who she has to cheat or undermine to get it???
It is as if the rules of life do not apply to her. She has to answer to no one. Does anyone else know someone like this? Do such people really exist? No one seems to believe me, but then again, this friend of mine is not to be believed!
Everything has a normal distribution curve ( like a bell shape ) so some people will be VERY unlucky and some will be extremely lucky. Most of us are in the middle.
I read a great sci-fi book once which had an idea of a gene for luck but although its a great idea i doubt its true.
I suppose its like flipping a coin, sometimes it will come up heads 10 times in a row !
Eh? Everything has a normal curve? Dang, a lot of these graphs I’ve been looking at must be completely and utterly wrong. Maybe if I twist them around…?
I know people who are abnormally lucky just as I know people who are abnormally unlucky. Most people are lucky or unluck most of the time.
My luck seems to run in waves… lots of good luck followed by some bad luck… then more good luck etc. I believe in Karma and that if you live a clean life goodness will come to you… in other words, if your friend is really not a good person and has figured out how to manipulate everyone around him/her to get what they want that’s fine… but sooner or later they will face something in their lives to even things out… I’m not wishing that on your friend… it just seems to happen.
