But leaving all that aside, I think it’s very telling that people have come back and attacked me far more than they have bothered to defend the propaganda of the convention. For those who genuinely think the Kerry kids are fine, intelligent, and articulate ladies, then I guess we just disagree.

I just found their presentations so phony and their manner so disconnected from the experience of ordinary Americans (i.e., they seem like stuck-up rich girls), that I found the whole thing to be really a turn-off. Same thing with Kerry’s stupid Vietnam propaganda film. Barf barf.
I think it’s funny that people here are standing up for prerogatives of the rich. Defend the propaganda of the convention, why? That’s all those are anyways. The nomination part was just a formality so all that’s left to do is stump for the candidate. Asking us to defend the propaganda of the DNC is like asking the same about a high school pep rally.
As far as the girls speeches, after four years of Bush I’m happy when a person gets through a speech without having to slow down for words over three syllables. And until the conventions move to the far more entertaining “roast” style, the praise stays.
I’d also like to say that I find the daughters “hittable.” Easily more than the Bush twins.
