In Psycho, Norman Bates is

HIS OWN MOTHER!

What? He gave birth to himself? That must have been one hell of a delivery.
No wonder he turned out like he did.

Is this right? I didn’t even know you could do spoilers…

Let’s see if this works.

Happy Mother’s Day

This is not a test:D

you can’t hide smilies?

I need a sandwich

Quoth Robb:

Sure you can, you just have to know how! J

Do I know how? J

Thanks, Chronos, you are wise indeed.

All of these features finally being implemented will spoil us eventually.

I’m sure it’s based on Anthracite’s basic hack (in fact, there’s evidence of it in this very thread), just color-reversed (which makes sense, as I suppose text recoloring is tough to ‘contain’).

Derleth, I would like to correct a misconception before people start thinking we copied Anthracite’s code without crediting her - our spoiler tag was inspired by the spoiler feature at the temporary SDMB at BbBoard, and by something found at the vBulletin support forum. Anthracite was consulted on suggestions to make a spoiler tag work with the Opera browser (thank you Anthracite), but before I asked her that I had no idea she had implemented a spoiler tag at the Unaboard.

Arnold is correct. The first implementation of the Spoiler hack here, the one that didn’t work well at all with Ver. 1.x and was active for about 24 hours, was mine verbatim. This current one sprung “fully formed” from someone else’s brow. And I didn’t help with the current one, as I was off-base on the proper solution.

OK. I knew the Coal Queen created the Old Spoiler, and I thought that the New Spoiler was a direct lift of it. I also knew the BbBoard had spoiler tags and other neat stuff, but I didn’t think the code would port as nicely to vB as the Old Spoilers, which were vB to begin with (admittedly flawed with Version 1, but There’s Always Another Bug).

I love having new features here, anyway.

:eek:Are you afraid of the dark?:smiley:Not I!:cool:I love the night life…

ChiefScott will be so impressed.
