I’m currently eating what appears to be the Mandelbrot set in crepe form. Delicious.
Yummy! Got any chocolate-covered Julias?
The Mandlebrot set? What, does it just keep going and going and going with smaller portions?
Just wanted to let you all know that…
AAAHHH! Just say it in the title! ;j
Mmmmm, yummy, math!
Found any black holes yet? Besides your mouth, that is.
Yer weird, Gadfly, but I love ya.
(Would someone explain Mandlebrot to a hopelessly confused math dolt…?)
The funny thing about eating the mandelbrot man is that every time you bite off his head, you find another one growing somewhere else.
Mandel means ‘almond’ in German.
Brot means ‘bread’ in German.
There used to be a German baker who developed this new bread with almonds. Unfortunately it was not a great success, as it was far too fuzzy at the edges. He tried multiple times, but every iteration brought the same fuzziness. His whole bakery was a chaos which he couldn’t resolve with rational means. I heard the poor guy went into mathematics afterwards.
Apparently Gadfly is eating a crepe variant of the bread.
Read this.
Yes, Madelbrot sets and Julia sets, when plotted, are shamelessly-beautiful pieces of artwork that just happen to be created by mathematical processes.
