Just watched The Skulls last night and...

liked it. Then I went to Rotten Tomatoes and found out it had a 9% critic/48% user rating. Most of the critic reviews cited the implausibility of various plot points like Joshua Jackson’s character being tapped for admission despite being from the wrong side of the tracks.

The only thing I thought was implausible was when JJ’s townie friends broke in to the Skull house. That makes it twice in a short time span that a non-Skull gained illegal entry into the inner sanctum. That can’t be good for secret keeping.

Anybody else think this was a fun popcorn movie? Should I bother with Skulls 2 and 3?

The Skulls is definitely one of my guilty pleasure movies. It’s so cheesy and poorly acted, but I will watch it every time. I briefly remember Skulls 2. It was bad, and not in a “so bad, it’s good” way.

It has Joshua Jackson, Paul Walker, and that guy from Coach. Plus Lorna Vallings’ “Taste” on the soundtrack. What’s not to love?
