Justice Dept. Removes Stars and Stripes from Website

You know what else is covered in law 101? That Don123 doesn’t know what the fuck he’s talking about.

They all look alike. Just sayin’ :stuck_out_tongue:

Don, so I guess once a website of the government has a flag, no matter how small, on it, it must remain there forever?

You’re looking at this from a flag/no flag standpoint. That is wrong. You, my friend, are a xenophobic and paranoid bigot. Just because the flag is removed doesn’t make it all about the flag.

Think of it this way, if a government website had to be designed from scratch, like for a new department or something, then would it be news if it didn’t include a flag?

Right now you are looking at things from the hilariously childish viewpoint of the old website, where the flag is prominent. Instead imagine a blank website, designed from the ground up. Flag or no flag, it’s just a design. It’s meaningless. Then again, I’m arguing with a troll so ooga booga to you

Hitler!

It’s kind of a boring-looking site, but there does seem to be a fair amount of info available from the first page.

Don123, were you BORN hating America or were you TAUGHT to hate America in some madrassa?

It sounds to me like you’re a BORN America-hater – someone who lacks a crucial part of the mental machinery required to operate in a free and open society.

Under “most requested”: Crack Cocaine

It’s kinda neat how you made “slavery is bad” sound racist there.

We were about due for another Beryl_Mooncalf.

Real Americans won’t go for that ghetto shit. Cloaking the DOJ website in Black Power colors is beyond the pale. Where is the Love of Country in that?

Firstly, each banner should be flanked by by one of these.

The Criminal Justice System as a Counterterrorism Tool must incorporate this image at least once on each page.

And this should be watermarked on all pages of Justice Department en Espanol.

We must regain our honor, America. The Prezdint has painted the Oval Office brown!!!

Since you live in a jurisdiction that doesn’t follow the Common Law legal system, shouldn’t you be out committing rampant acts of lawlessness and property destruction? Or at least fending off the looters who are surely clawing at your door? As we learned recently, the rule of law is impossible without the Common Law system.

I saw that on the syllabus, said, “Well shit, I already know that,” and went into engineering instead.

I don’t actually care, and I certainly don’t frequent the sites, but I think they look nice. Like encyclopedias.

I am going to write a strongly worded letter to the Dean of my law school. Why, I’ve never taken “law 101” at all!

No wonder I don’t know that Obama… er, what is the complaint here? I can’t really tell. From the way it was headed, I thought we were going to learn about how the new website design meant that Obama instituted Sharia law under our noses. That would’ve been fun, if only because it’s fun to picture the President himself creating the new site, alone, in a dark room, cackling malevolently. This is just confusing and wordy.

You forgot one thing. The official vehicle of the U.S. Marshals should be the Captain America motorcycle from Easy Rider. Instead of using sedans, all the agents will just ride one of those.

They were going to change it to that but Obama got them a good deal on spinners for the sedans at his neighborhood rim shop back in Chicago.

It’s pretty clear you can say an awful lot more than that.

Granted, it’s just about all meandering, off-point or blatantly false, but you do manage to say a lot of it.

I think **Don **might be the guy who writes all those glurgy political e-mails everyone gets forwarded by that one loony uncle/cousin/mother-in-law.

I agree. Overall, the new one is a big improvement. Aside from the fact that it portrays Holder as being our AG.

Yeah. I agree. When he got sacked late today, I was shocked.

Help me out, I lost my program - people are really upset about this?

It looks like a nice web-site; I haven’t poked around it, but it looks nice and is easy to read. It’s elegant and serious and professional.

Ah, I see, it’s the flag.

Tell me, how did a primarily Christian nation become such a bunch of idolators? Worshipers of a symbol as more important than the ideal.

Let me know when someone posts to complain about the FDA website,

That’s a good analogy. Probably what’s pissing people off - the idea that people should acquire accurate information, and, heaven forfend, think about it.

I’m not worried. The Tomb Raider can kick their asses again.
