I can’t seem to find the old thread. You’d think searching on hatchet would be easy. For some reason I’m getting all kinds of ridiculous hits for hatchet. Threads that should never have that word in them.
Somewhere we got a thread on this guy from a few months ago. I’m sick of trying to find it. He saved the day from some lunatic with a Jesus complex attacking a PG&E utility worker. Kai used his trusty hatchet.
Now Kai is up for murder. Some dude he was staying with on the East coast. Probably the same hatchet. I bet.
What a damn shame. But, Kai seemed pretty unstable in his hero interview.
I see people say this all the time, but unless something has changed recently (HA!), it isn’t true. You CAN change the thread title within the same 5-minute window that you can edit the post in. You just have to hit “Edit” then go to “Advanced” and voila!
yeah, it sucks. a few days before this he was talking about how he had been drugged and raped by someone. I’m not sure if the guy he killed is the same person who did that or not.
The killing might have been avoided if the reporter had given Kai a safe place to stay for a few days. Instead he stayed somewhere that he was drugged and raped . That doesn’t excuse pulling out the hatchet. Kai’s freewheeling days on the road are over.
kai must have met all sort hitching around the country. He had gotten a ride with that Jesus complex guy. Then the guy gets all freaky and attacks the utility worker.
More complete article on Kai. He’s spent the last few months meeting and mooching off his internet fans. Sounds like he’d had quite a few good times with fans.
