This is not a redundant thread. It is not merely calling for a thread closure. It is calling the moderators who have repeatedly bumped the now useless thread by namechange fuckwits.
If you really want it closed, you should call for it to be closed in the other thread. Opening another one smacks of attention whoring.

I only noticed the name change yesterday, and it did puzzle me a bit, but i wasn’t interested enough to open the thread and find out the cause. If they’re doing what Hawthorne says, that is indeed a bit lame. Either make it a sticky, if it’s that important, or let it die.

Regardless of name changes, the thread wouldn’t keep popping back up if people didn’t keep posting in it.
