**Kanye West taken in for observation **
Hmmph, that’s exactly what the attention seeking narcissist wants.
I wonder if there’s going to be (or is) a Kanye West observation industry like there was for Britney Spears. You know, where the press agent calls them, says “Kanye’s going to be here,” and they get their video equipment set up.
Only in America.
I hope it’s nothing trivial.
Thanks for checking! Yes, apparently many people do.
Friends who have known him before he became famous have publically been concerned for quite some time.
Just don’t post if you aren’t interested in the subject of a topic.
I found out that “exhaustion” is not an actual medical diagnosis. And it’s said he has never recovered from his mother’s death in a botched plastic surgery.
The local news here in Sacto had a clip of him just moments after dropping the mic at his show here. He was in his car (backseat) and a passerby asked him for a selfie, which he obliged. Looked completely normal and composed - just moments after walking off the stage mid-concert.
I think he is mildly mentally damaged or mentally ill. That’s not good if he skipped his meds.
If they do a CT scan they’ll probably find 2 more Kanye’s inside him thus proving he’s truly full of himself.
They are reporting he goes two or more days without sleep. That could easily account for unbalanced behavior.
He’s always been a very intense guy. Very eccentric.
Maybe it’s time he gets professional therapy.
I hope he gets the help that he needs. Kim and his 2 kids need him in their lives.
Only when you figure out how to divide by zero first.
Paraphrasing Dorothy Parker’s comment on hearing of the death of Calvin Coolidge, “Did you hear Kanye West went crazy”…response, “How did they tell?”
It’s long been a code word for a drug overdose or a mental breakdown.
It is going days without sleeping that makes me think mania.
And, as others have said, while he might have had problems, he usually was big on doing a show for his fans. So when he came out, ranted about some other musicians, and then just refused to continue the show, alarm bells were already ringing.
I don’t know from Kanye but I think I saw a headline about his doctor calling for help. If that’s right, I suspect there may be a bit of post-Michael Jackson learning involved here. The doctor doesn’t want to be the one blamed when the guy dies.
Apparently he was assaulting a staff member at the private gym he was at when his doctor/trainer called the police. They had to handcuff him to the gurney as they wheeled him away.
What I don’t understand is why reputable media plays along with the “polite” euphemism, routinely reporting various celebrities as being hospitalized with “exhaustion.”
“Exhaustion” as an admitting diagnosis is something I have “only” heard attached to celebrities. Why do they not just report that the person was admitted and the nature of the problem has not been shared with the press?
Agreed. I’m manic-depressive myself, and it’s no joke. You have to take your meds. That’s the only way you’re gonna control your symptoms.
Because they’ve been told it’s exhaustion. It’s easier for them to pass on the lie and let you figure it out.
When Mike Myers starts cringing.
