Kayak recommendation on when to book a flight

According to a site I found, The Best Flight Price Tracker Websites (awardwallet.com), Kayak will tell you when it’s a good idea to book a flight:
“One great thing about KAYAK is that it uses an analysis of current and past flight prices to recommend when you should or should not book a flight. As you can see in the above screenshot, it’s recommending I book this example flight now because prices are not likely to improve soon.”

But when I go to Kayak I can’t find any way to access this feature. Is it not available any more? We have a family trip scheduled for the end of August with a Rhine cruise already booked, so I’m thinking I should reserve the flights too. But a feature telling me that it’s a good idea to book now would help me pull the trigger.

Just taking a quick at KAYAK, it looks like you can log in as a user to access additional features. So dumb question, but do you have an account at the site?

I just tried searching a round-trip BOS-FRA at the end of August and the buying advice showed up for me. It’s displayed in a small panel at the top of the left sidebar. Do you not see this advice when you search?

I do have an account but I wasn’t signed in at the time, so I don’t think that’s the issue you’re facing.

@Dag_Otto yes I did create an account and log in, and still didn’t see that info panel, which is why I asked.

And @MikeS what shows up for me at the small panel at the top of the left sidebar is
“Ask KAYAK
BETA • Powered by ChatGPT”. I tried in Microsoft Edge and in Chrome and neither of them shows me the buying advice.

I clicked on your link and I saw the buying advice that showed up for you with the BOS-FRA flight, to buy now.

ETA OK I found out the issue! When I search for a round-trip, buying advice shows up. When I search for multi-city (which is what I need, JFK-FRA, then AMS-JFK), the advice disappears.
I guess it’s not too much of a surprise; I looked at 2 other recommended flight websites and found that they don’t even give a multi-city search option.

Looks like I should bite the bullet and buy now! Thanks for the responses!
