Key and Peele - I was so late to the party

So late. I’m on summer holidays so I had a bit of free time, and was searching for Youtube comedy and came across them. Face, neck, and chest. I can’t believe I had never heard of these guys! (In retrospect - I had heard of the movie Get Out, but I am rarely in the mood to watch horror these days)

I binge-watched everything available on youtube but want more. These guys are brilliant. For a week I have not been able to get this sketch out of my mind:

Key & Peele - Prepared for Terries

These are characters I have never seen before, and they shine. Homeboys who have very questionable fashion sense, are vaguely hyper-sexual, well-read, witty, with a macho violent streak against unlikely threats. I. fucking. love it.

Their other stuff is awesome too, but this one sketch stands out to me.

"That’s the combat seat, Jonathan Livingston Seagull. If you gonna be in the combat seat you gotta be ready to blast up on some terries. Because with great power comes great responsatrilitrance.

Okay, um, I just wanted some legroom…

Okay Max Legroom, you get yours. Meanwhile, I’m gonna go Hayden Pantiniere on some terries. Especially when they get froggy."

Their “Dueling Hats” is too awesome.
Anyone who has ever taught(teacher here) loves his substitute teacher sketch. I know he’s insane, but teachers* know* what that dude has been through.

For what it’s worth, Get Out is not traditional slash horror. There’s a lot of humor and suspense. It’s worth watching.

East-West College Bowl

I think I’m either too old or too non-american to really get down with that one. But thank you anyway! I like all their stuff.

This is solid gold.

OK, I will take that under advisement. Thanks.

I can not recommend Keanu enough as well. Keegan-Michael Key ends up in a car with some serious thugs and has to pretend he’s “hardcore thug life” and it is awesome.

I laughed so hard watching Obama’s anger translator sketches.

Now with the current administration, I realize how much I appreciate calmness.

I cracked up at the Homeboy/Gang-banger who won’t pour out.

As a beer drinker, I can appreciate that.

I wasn’t a huge fan of their sketch show. The absurdity of the aforementioned East-West College Bowl sketch does crack me up though.

I love Keanu, and I enjoyed Get Out.

They ruined the name Aaron, luckily the Aaron that worked at my place for a while didn’t seem to mind being called A-a-ron, it’s his name now.
A little while back, they were hosting something and said this in the middle of it.

If the OP binged everything, he probably caught it, but if he didn’t that last line, “I said bitch” is in reference to this sketch.

lol, I caught it yo!

It’s silly but the humor hit me just the right way in the Gremlins 2 sketch.

Also of course alien imposters.

There is a skit, I think it might just be called substitute teacher, I haven’t seen it in ages, but I remember laughing like crazy over the pronunciations.

Among the many amazing sketches, by far the most superlative is the Urkel sketch.

And it is really funny!

That had to go down in real life.

My favorite is the Hall of Mirrors sketch.

Thanks I saw the first link and missed the other!
