A friend of mine emailed this link to me of a group of kids kickin’-it on this Tool song. I was quite blown-away by it, and found myself searching to see what was up with this. From the limited research that I’ve done, these are the students of Aaron O’Keefe, and he (his school) does a lot of these video productions. Search his U-tube page and you’ll probably find one of your favorites being covered. I liked the covers of Live and Let Die, Cemetery Gates and Mama Kin, too, but YMMV. The Iron Maiden one is a little strange, but only because the child reads the prologue… the rest of it is impressive.
I’d love to hear if you guys have had any experience/knowledge of this O’Keefe character. I’m not looking to go to music school or anything, just looking for background on him… where he came from, who he is.
