The Wisconsin Court of Appeals held this week that a ban on sex offenders who, without obtaining the children’s parents’ consent, photograph children in public is unconstitutionally overbroad.

She was given Accelerated Rehabilitation for both counts (3rd degree assault and 2nd degree breach of peace). Connecticut’s AR program explained here: http://www.avvo.com/legal-guides/ugc/connecticut-accelerated-rehabilitation-program
Basically, 2 years of court supervision (probation), with perhaps a counseling requirement to fit the crime (anger management, for example). I believe the page I linked to states that the victim has to agree to it, for the defendant to be eligible for the program. Assuming she complies with any requirements and commits no new crime, it’s as if she were never charged with either count. Meh.
