Kiddie show UL?

I’ve heard this from different people about different kiddie shows.

The host is talking to one of the kids, and the rest of the kids start laughing.

The host then asks “What’s so funny?”

One of the kids then replies, “Bobby (or some other name) ‘flatulated.’”

The embarrassed host then proceeds on talking to the kids.

Since I’ve heard this about two different kiddie shows, I wonder that it might just be UL.

Anyone else???

Something similar happened in Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, which is a work of fiction. No idea whether it happened IRL, although it’s plausible.

I’m off to see what Snopes has to say about it.
