Henry, to be charitable, your posts reek of an ignorance of history (for example the ones in the thread on Israeli settlements). As suggested here, you need to study up on the significance of the Third Reich, before you make an even greater ass of yourself with foolish and ineffectual analogies between Nazis and whatever group you’re seeking to denounce.

Hint: if you call everyone you dislike Nazis, pretty soon the insult lacks any force whatsoever, besides branding whomever wields such insults a driveling idiot.

And speaking of history, I can’t recall any great powers of the past who acted through sheer altruism, including Great Britain, France, Holland, Spain, German, Russia etc. All did pretty much as they pleased while they were riding high. So go on and criticize specific aspects of American policy (there’s certainly plenty to criticize). But don’t pretend that wounded pride, jealousy and economic self-interest don’t enter into some of these gripes.

Many Americans tend not to be impressed by former powers who get up on the world stage like aging beauty queens, fluttering and declaiming about how they’re for World Peace.

I’m glad You wrote. I know that You did mean it in a good way. I just have to tell You this. Just have to; there was an error in Your text as well about this “lecture”-word, hihihihi. :wink:
(And do not care about capitalizing the word “You”. I do it in every language, because I feel it is “right”. That is the custom even in English business-letters.)
I have naturally the grammatical problems, and my Webster has broken down, but my biggest problem is to keep Swedish (I am a Swede-Finn), German and the English languages separated. After living in Russia about 6 years, I also have begun sometimes to answer my children, who lives in Finland, in Russian!
So I am a happy mess, when it comes down to linguas.

I have responding to your rantings in the aforementioned thread (at least the more intelligible ones). This is basically a useless exercise, because as you have demonstrated again here, you have a “Four Legs Good, Two Legs Bad” outlook which is not conducive to rational discussion. Americans are Bad, the rest of the world is Good, Israelis are Demonic, Palestinians are the Saintly Oppressed.

It is thus not worthwhile “debating” with you, as you ignore counterarguments that refute you, while insisting righteously that every one of your drooling irrelevancies be attended to.

As to your “sources”, I see far more dependence on things like the Islamic Voice for Palestine and HearPalestine. The latter is a Yahoo! newsgroup, Henry. It’s a frigging newsgroup, which issues unsigned “bulletins”. This is the authoritative voice we’re supposed to trust?

Rather than burdening us with your rantings on the Mideast and other topics (congratulations, by the way, on being a semiliterate jerk in multiple languages), why not contact december about becoming pen pals? Your styles have a great deal in common.
