Who do you think is the proper person to kill a thread, the OP or someone else?
Think it really depends on the situation. If the thread deals with a personal, sensitive issue, and it gets out of hand…the OP should be able to ask that it be closed.
Or are you talking about something else entirely?
Well, actually this is just a survey to find people’s opinion of who should be the last poster to a thread, nothing more nothing less.
Honestly, I don’t think anyone is sitting there saying “I’d post, but the OP might consider it rude to do so.” That’s why he or she posted in the first place!
Threads get killed when they get killed. You can never tell that it’s happened until it’s happened and then most people forget about it.
Now, resurrecting threads. That’s a different matter.
Why, it’s obvious. That incredibly unpopular poster that everyone (except himself) hates. You know, the loser that’s universally detested by the masses. Except he somehow deludes himself into thinking he’s actually popular.
