Makes it quite clear to me that they were executed on a pretext, and that pretext had to be as big as possible, so PORN, oh and BIBLES. Sad.
I read somewhere that all this mess was related to the ongoing power struggle that has gripped the upper echelons of the North Korean ruling elite since Kim Jong Il died and the “Young Un” succeeded him.
Basically, the army chiefs vs. Lil’ Kim and his entourage.
Oh, and to top it all, it appears that the current wife of Kim Jong Un was also a singer in the same group as the dead one. It appears that the wife is in the “entourage” camp and the ex was in the “army” camp (apparently, after the relationship between Kim Jong Un and Hyon Song-Wol was broken up by his father Kim Jong Il, she married an army officer).
Add a dash of probable jealousy on the part of Ri Sol-Ju (current wife of Kim Jong Un) who might even have asked for the ex’s head…
