Lana Turner. I remember reading the story in her autobiography. She played an Asian (gotta love that old Hollywood casting) in a film - “The Adventures of Marco Polo” and they never grew back. I remember in her autobio, when she eloped with Artie Shaw, she forgot her eyebrow pencil & had to draw them in with a regular pencil before facing the press about the marriage.
