Kingdom Hearts 2: Dead Man's Chest

I am not making this up!

Bolding Mine.

Wait for it…

Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
I’m done.

News is a little old for me, since I heard about it when they announced the SECOND odd Disney world to be included : Tron.

Wow. We’re talking about a game that’s going to include small cartoon children, 80-year old classic Disney characters, Squaresoft heroes and villains like Cloud and Sephiroth, Tron, and Pirates of the Carribean, and we’ve only got one reply?

What the heckis wrong with this board today!?

Tron? Really? News to me.

I heard about Pirates being included months ago. There’s a screenshot of Sora talking to Ms. Swan somewhere…

Tron?

I got the first Kingdom Hearts for my birthday last October (by request). I haven’t had much free time for video games, so my 14yo took it over, and has gone through the game once, and is in the middle of her second game using different start settings.

She told me she had heard of a sequel, but didn’t know much else. When she finds out that Pirates is in the sequel, she’ll be sorry she begged me for a snowboarding game instead…

I’m kinda glad they’re taking their time with the release. Hopefully that means the game will be as polished as the first one. And if it is, this game is gonna be sweet.

PotC doesn’t sound like that thrilling of a game map, but Tron should be pretty cool. Between this and the new Zelda coming out, 2006 is looking good.

You know, I really need to take out my Kingdom Hearts I and finish those last couple side missions. You know, those bonus competition things you do? Can’t believe I never finished those, but once I’d beaten the game I was so sad… :frowning:

In Chain of Memories, basically Kingdom Hearts One and a Half:

Mickey and Rikku find their way back. They’ll be in KH 2.

Then again I’ve yet to play KH1 so maybe you are refering to something else.

That’s pretty much it. Towards the end of KH1:
During the last level you have to briefly revisit each world you’ve been to, and it’s basically saying goodbye to all the friends you’ve made along the way. Damn it! This game is pretty good at making you feel like you really did make friends. They’ve got the sorrowful music playing and you know if you’re successful in the coming final battle, and repair the rifts in the multi-verse, you’re also never going to see your friends again. Not even a card or a letter. So depressing!

Most of my all-time favorite games, like Mario or Zelda, at the end you have a feeling of “yah, we saved the day!”

KH1 has a very bittersweet ending. You know you saved everybody, but it comes at an emotional price.
