Kiss Her Goodbye (1959) on TCM! Today! Right Now!

I’ve been waiting forever to catch a glimpse of this movie that is, according to Eve, The Worst Movie Ever Made. Sadly, the original threads she posted regarding the movie have been lost to time, so no links. Which is a shame, because they were awesomely written. Maybe she’ll check in here with some words about it.

I only just now saw that it was coming on, so it might be way short notice (3:15pm MT).

IMDb Link.

I just checked TCM’s website, and I’m wondering which of their Themes this one fits into: childstars? horror? architecture in the movies?

Worst Movie Ever Made? C’mon. Not counting Coleman Francis or Ed Wood movies, right?

Oh, so I wasn’t supposed to be able to stay awake all the way through it? I feel better now.

I had no idea it had a rep as a bad film. I like Elaine Stritch and was looking forward to seeing her. And I didn’t realize the male lead was the DA from Law & Order until a bit in when he busted out a couple of line readings in trademark style.

I missed it?! And with all the threads on it dead and gone?!

(Crawls into bedroom to put an end to it all)

BTW, the lovely Sharon Farrell also had a featuring role in this post, although it was some time later before she was identified.
