Kit Kats are good, but I’m not certain that I would rate them above Twix.

On the other hand, Kit Kats have a wide variety of weird and exotic flavors that you’d have a hard time finding on any other candy bar. I don’t think I’ve ever even seen a dark Twix. So yeah, that might tip them over the top.

I just can’t begin to like the regular Hershey chocolate, the kisses are vile to me and I’m a complete chocoholic. They taste like old socks :eek:

British chocolate is different to American chocolate I find, I love your American choccy but Hershey is not a taste I can acquire and believe me I’ve tried

I like chocolate on the continent, but I find British and Irish chocolate bars to be cloyingly sweet.

I think this is why us Brits find chocolate from other countries less palatable. We’re so used to the silly amount of sugar in the chocolate unless it’s British or Scandinavian it’s just not sweet enough for our taste

Milky Way Midnight is better than anything mentioned so far. I don’t bring them into my house very often as I have no resistance.

Kit Kat is good; Twix is the same thing with caramel added, so it’s better.

But I agree that any toffee bar is superior.

And the best is Canada’s Mackintosh toffee bar, which dispenses with the chocolate and gives you pure toffee euphoria.

When I was in Japan I was able to get wasabi white chocolate Kit Kats as well as cayenne chocolate Kit Kats.

I suggest that until you have had those, you are not granted passage through the kept gates of True Kit Kat Lover.

They came so close. They have Almond Joys with milk chocolate and almonds and Mounds with dark chocolate but no almonds. Didn’t they see that the correct combination is dark chocolate and almonds?

Kit kats are indeed top tier. However, being “the best” requires far more effort than I’m willing to expend. So I will just concede that they are, indeed, The Best.

Of the typical commercial candy bars, my go-tos are:

Hershey’s with almonds
Milky way
Mounds
100k bar

I like lots of others, but those are the ones i buy. I also like some non-chocolate non-bars sold in the same venues, like m&Ms (with and without peanuts), good’n’plenty, and sweet-tarts.

Those things are way TOO sweet for me, but I agree on the horrible taste and smell part.
