What's your favorite candy bar?

I’ve never really eaten much candy in my life, but I decided to play catch up for some reason.

In the past few days I’ve tried most of the big ones and I’ve found Twix and Heath Bars to be the most delicious. I have also discovered that Snickers really isn’t that great, isn’t that the most popular one or something?

What say you?

The only one’s I’d buy: Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, Snickers, KitKat, Almond Joy/Mounds, Butter Finger, Crunch, Carmello, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, Milky Way, Rolos, and Twix.

As for a personal favorite, hard to say. A few would be a close tie. But if I have to pick one it’d be Twix.

And if you haven’t figured it out yet; I’m not a huge fan of dark chocolate.

Mounds
It barely beats out a Heath Bar. On the right day it tops the Mounds.
Milky Way is super popular. I eat them more often than any other. The other two are often hard to get and other people don’t have them around like the Milky Way.

I probably haven’t eaten a candy bar in 15 years. However, I used to be a big fan of three: Mounds, Almond Joy, and Tom’s Peanut log. Favorite? That would depend upon my mood at the time.

American: Charleston Chew (the vanilla flavour).
British: Cadbury Fudge.

Heath Bar
Butterfinger
Small peanut butter cups
Carmello

These are my favorites anyways.

Probably Milky Way or Cadbury. Cadbury is a little harder to find and I’m lazy and usually go to the super close place that doesn’t have Brit candies.

I strongly prefer dark chocolate, to the point that I’d much rather have a Payday than anything milk chocolate. When I can find a Dark Chocolate Kit Kat, I’m all over that.

I generally don’t eat candy, but when I do, I hunt down Zero bars.

I like Bolster Bars, they’re crunchy and have peanut butter flavor.

Not much of a candy bar eater, either, but I enjoy:

Butterfinger
Skor
Heath
Snickers
Ritter Sport Butter Biscuit

edit: Oh, and a PayDay every once in awhile, too.

Milky Way. I also really like Baby Ruth, but they tend to be messy if you eat them in the car because when you bite into them little bits of chocolate break off and end up in your lap and by the time you notice them, they’ve melted into your clothes or the seat.

Snickers,3 Musteteers, and Milky Way. Cadbury is good too.

I used to love Forever Yours, but now they renamed it Milky Way Dark, and it’s still my favorite.

But the very best, and quite hard to find, are a German smooth chocolate with hazelnut flavoring, but no nuts, called Ice Cubes. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2164/2048911693_9c6bfb27b8.jpg

Snickers with almonds. Oh, I shiver with delight at the thought…

Skor, Reese PB cups (miniatures, preferably), Kit Kat bars from England.

ETA: Ice Cubes! Yum

Toffifay.

Over recent years I’ve become a little more discriminating. For a long time I thought I loved Mr. Gooodbar, but that really is awful chocolate.

If I’m in a convenience store and feeling munchy I’m most likely to choose Peanut M&Ms from the candy rack. I like Reese’s cups but I’m old and rememebering how big they used to be and how much thicker the chocolate used to be makes me grumpy.

Just a regular Snickers doesn’t generally spin my wheels but I really like the ones that come out at holidays (Nutcrackers at Christmas, Pumpkins at Halloween, Bunnies at Easter). The chocolate:other stuff ratio seems better.

I get most of my chocolate these days from Trader Joe’s. Their organic dark truffle bar is my current favorite.

Peruvian: Sublime and Triángulo
American: Babe Ruth

Chocolate with almonds or chocolate with peanut butter.

There is a local candy place that has Almond Bark. Lots of almonds and chocolate. Costly, but oh so good.

I love the peanut butter eggs that Reeses put out at Easter!
