OK, I’ve got the Ice Cream maker and make superb homemade ice cream at least once per week. Tomorrow, I’d like to split the batch into two flavors and make them in one go. Is it possible to make one batch, dump it into tupperware, and start the process over again with the second cream mixture, or will the liquid be too warm for that?
I’d guess that the cylinder will be too warm after batch one to start batch two. What might help is to keep your cream base in the fridge or freezer to keep it as cold as possible (don’t leave it in the freezer too long) so your liquid sucks less heat from the cylinder. When I do 2 batches in one night, I use a second frozen cylinder, but I’m crazy that way.
