The Hoff was what Michael Knight looked like after extensive plastic surgery to hide his original id as a police officer that had supposedly been killed. They could have made his kid look like anything.
And on the age thing the kid could have been conceived before he “died” as a police officer which also explains why he never was contacted by Michael Knight.
Wow that stuff really stuck with me from back then I am so ashamed.
Well, that’s true, of course. But I suppose that’s a bit much to expect the casual viewer to remember and/or consider. I think it’s good that they cast someone with a passing resemblance.
Hmmm…Tucker’s post makes me want to ask, “Is this the beginning of the return of action/adventure television?” You know, there was a whole action/adventure decade there in the 80’s…Airwolf, Knight Rider, The A-Team, McGyver…
I don’t know about anyone else, but I could use a little more action-adventure on my TV, and less reality TV and game shows…
That’s good to hear. If Fox renews The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as inside sources are reporting, there will be a couple of hours of decent TV programming in the fall.
I don’t expect it to be very popular. The ratings for the pilot movie were due to curiosity, I think. My guess is most people who watched it probably won’t follow it to series.
I agree, the ratings were due to curiosity. This show sucked big time. It ran again like within a month later, and if it had any ratings (which I guess it did because it got picked up), I speculate that the ratings were to show people how unusually bad it was. If I had to choose between this and The Bionic Woman, I guess I’m the only one who would easily choose The Bionic Woman.
