Knives Out: Seen it thread (review in OP with no spoilers, open spoilers after that)

Mrs. Cups and I spent turkey day at the movies and saw this. I’ve been excited for it for a while because I love these types of whodunnits and while I had a lot of fun and think it was a great movie, I’m a taaaad disappointed in the end.

I’m not too terribly smart, and I was trying to figure out who did it and why and all throughout the movie and I ended up being right. I don’t necessarily know if that made the movie better because I won, or worse because I wanted to lose and be amazed. I think more the latter, which is why I’m not saying how much I loooooved it.

Regardless, movies like that aren’t made very often anymore and this was a great version of it.

Anyone else see it?

I just saw it today, too (also saw Frozen 2 today!). I thought it was a lot of fun, very enjoyable. I was a little disappointed as it appeared that what happened was revealed near the beginning, but happily that was not actually the case. It held my interest well throughout. No boring bits.
