I don’t drink, but most of my friends do - and when we get together, they play Becker’s Game of Death, or BGoD, as it’s known. The rules are hideously complicated, so I’m posting a link to them. You will see that I am mentioned in the rules - having me for a sober partner gets you penalty drinks. My friends all have a great time, if you consider vomiting at the end a great time. I will say that since we get together from all over the country, these games usually take place in hotel rooms, and no one has to drive home.
BUZZ wherein a group in a circle starts counting from one, one person at a time, going clockwise. When any multiple of 7 or number with 7 in it comes up, that person must say “BUZZ” and the NEXT person takes the count from there.
Example: 1st person “One”, 2nd “two”, 3,4,5,6,“BUZZ”, 8,9,10,11,12,13,“BUZZ”…
The one to screw up drinks.
For the simpler folk, the is POINT-DRINK. One person points to another and that person must drink. Then that person gets to point. Very few rules. Very fast game.
Learned this one from some very athletic Norwegians.
The object is to drink all the wine in your wine glass without spilling any, and with your hands clasped behind your back the whole time and the wine glass starting on your forehead.
Half the fun is figuring out how to do it, so I won’t post the technique. There are no tricks or hidden answers. Just a bit of gymnastics.
