Know of a good CD changer?

I’m thinking about the changers that can hold 100 plus discs.

Besides actually working, and being somewhat intuitive, I’d like to know of a model that doesn’t require an hour’s work to enter the data with a remote so you know where the discs are. My roommate had one that used that method, plus, this was viewable only on the tv, and my tv doesn’t have anything more than a standard cable input, so I don’t think it can handle another device.

Aren’t there some that can query the CDDB like Winamp does? It would be great if it could build a database over half an hour while you walk away, and then keep it until you ask it to run a check again.

I guess it would also be great if you could play random cuts from a certain section. Oh, and if it knew how to win the lottery…

OK, some are gonna hate me for this pedantic answer, but here goes: a good CD Changer does not exist. All changers, albeit 5 CD Carrousels or 100 CD Turning-Wheel types, lack a stable CD drawer, and hence a precise laser reading. This makes for a mediocre sound quality - at best.

But fear not. Really bad CD players (at least from a non-HiFi, practical sort of angle) don’t exist either, changer or not. They all produce a “decent” sound. Which means yes, you can buy a CD Changer that will play your music and that will last.

Since sound quality is pretty much irrelevant due to the nature of a changer, I’d say shop for the gadgets you want, and don’t spend too much money.

I’m sorry I can’t give you an example of a changer you could buy, I can only give you the skinny on changers in general.
