Good one! In hindsight, anyway.
I like her work on The Daily Show, though I saw something unfunny she did for Funny or Die and I came away with the impression that she’s an experimental comedian who by that nature is willing to risk failure. And she failed. I’m rooting for her, though.
How is this possible?

I watched the first half last night and thought it was good. I hadn’t seen anything of her before.
She has a face made for mugging and did that really well, totally sold her bits, etc.
Whatever happened in the second half, I have’t seen. She seemed to set it up though, right at the beginning, when she says she needs nothing to go wrong.
As far as Kaufman, only connection I see so far is, when she does a blank look, she actually looks like him doing the same look.

I saw her on The Secret Policeman’s Ball once, and thought that she was terrible. I don’t mind her when she’s acting, but anything requiring her to be herself just falls flat for me.
