Look, I understand you’re insecure and lonely, and I pity your feelings. I really do. But doing things like this makes you look so unbelievably bad and pathetic. I’m not saying this to be mean, despite being in the Pit. But I can tell you from experience that coming across as clingy and needy and desperate for attention is not the way to make friends. Just chill out.

OK, so post count is your criteria. Then, by your logic, I can tell you what to do…
I’m sure, out of everyone who has “hooked-up” on the boards, no one did it the way you are trying to.
This isn’t a pick up board, that’s why. Yeah, we flirt and joke around, but in general, we’re more interested in conversations, rather than a hook up scene.
So am I, but now I want to talk to people (well, women) and try to get to know them and be a nice friend. And hopefully the rolls-reverse will happen.

Please, Ryan, I’ve tried to be nice and understanding to you. I hope, in some of your other threads, I’ve offered you some good advice. I understand that you’re young and lonely and trying to find your place in the world. But please stop trying to hit on girls in such an obvious manner. It’s embarressing for all concerned.
