I just have to say that this exchange has made this entire ridiculous thread worthy of existence.
Ryan_Liam, I’m sure you’re a nice guy, and I’m sorry you’re feeling lonely right now. But your posting habits go against the unwritten rules of this message board. The biggies are: Only post if you have something useful to add, and Only start threads if you think that other people are going to have something useful to add. In other words, threads about the random shit that happened to you today is generally not considered okay. That’s why we have LiveJournals. If you want one, I am sure that can be arranged. The SDMB is read by thousands of people, and stupid threads just make people roll their eyes and clog up the server. The MB is not about you. Next time you start a thread, seriously consider how many people are really interested. And hijacking a thread to pick up chicks (most of whom don’t even live on the same continent as you)? Both pathetic and annoying.
BTW, I have more posts that you and my registration date predates yours by several years, so you are required to do what I say.
