Parody obit? Looks like knowingly posting false information to me. I think you were hoping you’d get away without being called on it, Kyle. Doesn’t leave you on very firm grounds for your threatened SDMB lawsuit, no matter how facetiously you know claim that threat to have been intended.
What we have in this thread, folks, is a great example of why professors, teachers, instructors, and SDMBers demand citations to support premises. At least one of the aforementioned folks will check the cite.
Kyle: Some advice for you, take it or leave it. (1) Act adult. (2) Don’t make up citations. That will get you expelled from any reputable college if you do that on your work & it will most likely get you disciplined also at whatever scruffy institution was foolish enough to admit you. (3) Get better at research! You’re only deluding yourself when you say that you can do it. At the moment, you can’t. At the moment, you start with your conclusion and then try to find something to support it. Lacking that something, you made it up. Bad move, very bad. Start with researching the issue, gather facts, examine the facts, then develop a conclusion. And finally, (5) Learn quickly that perception does not equal reality.
UD: Sorry about ruining the joke. It’s truly amazing to me that KR1 didn’t figure it out. Even someone as stupid as he obviously is should’ve known that one.
