LA 28 Olympics tickets are now on sale. Note that the procedure is fairly complicated. You need to sign up and they give you a specific 48 hour period during which you are eligible to buy tickets. Local residents of the LA area were eligible for all the early slots. I’m in the Bay Area and my slot opened yesterday morning.
So by the time I was eligible, many of the prestige sports were gone. No gymnastics, no swimming, no diving, etc. They say there will be additional ticket drops occasionally as the months go by, I have no idea how that will work.
I did manage to get tickets to a few events: archery, badminton, and track & field.
