The Hartford tickets are on sale. Tried to get some tonight – only lawn seats are available. I bought tickets for the Tweeter Center show my husband (better seats still available). He’s a huge fan. Met Neil Pert when he was in high school working for Vic Firth (percussionist for the BSO) pairing drum sticks. Well, he was talking with a guy who was dropping drum sticks to hear the sound they made. Later that day, Vic told him who it was. Doh, my husband had never seen a picture of him, thought he was just another member of the symphony.:rolleyes:
Unfortunately everyone I went with to the last Rush concert bombed out on me or moved. I tried drumming up someone to go with but no one was interested. Anyone in the DC/Balt area need a date (metaphorically speaking)? Worse case scenario I’ll go by myself.
I also just realized that two weeks before Rush plays I’m going to Nissan to see Jimmy Buffett. Never been there before in my life and now twice in a two week span. Weird.
